#paedobritain #stopabusenow trended on Twitter: What can I do about ‘it’?

13 03 28 Darkness must endWhat Can I do about it? is a nice new blog whose author comes to the same conclusions that I have reached.

Above all, it lists the key issues

  • economic and financial reform
  • political and media reform
  • social and cultural.

Recently, I have been focussing on child snatching as the most heinous of all white collar crimes, as I can help individuals in more tangible ways. For nobody on their own can ‘change the system’. But even that is one shock therapy after another: un-believable, the actions and non-actions police, social workers, solicitors, local councils, judges and court staff get up to!!!

But, together, we caused a ‘twitter storm’ with #paedobritain and we can make news by getting hashtags to trend! That’s a new kind of ‘information war’ with new kinds of ‘online battles’.

Twitter is being taken seriously by the mainstream media – mainly for emergency management since the Hudson River accident demonstrated first.

Let’s hope that TPTB [The Powers That Be] will take note and respect the power of the 99%, as we must not underestimate the power of the 1%…  More

There was an ‘arguable case’ that the family court judge had ‘fallen into error’

Now we get to read it in the Dail Mail: Slovakian grandmother wins right to challenge High Court adoption ruling keeping grandsons in the UK

  • She wants the boys, who were born in England to Slovakian parents, to leave the UK
  • Social workers intervened after one suffered an injury thought to have been caused by his father.

Meanwhile, the boys are staying with their foster / adoptive parents…

But if the adoption is reversed, this may become an important precedence!

Victims Unite 120,001As long as we can’t either win individual cases or make progress in terms of changing “the system”, I can hardly feel pleased. However, I follow the following guidelines:

  1. Publicity is the very soul of justice. It is the surest of all guards against improbity. It keeps the judge himself, while trying, under trial.
  2. As long as the mainstream media don’t cover enough of our problems, we must ‘compensate’ with internet media.
  3. Just as mainstream media ‘boast’ with ratings and circulation figures, so bloggers are happy with good numbers of visits to their sites.

Victims Unite was started on 2nd August 2010, after Room 14 – a Foundation for Change in April 2009 (2,589 visitors) and Enforcement of Bank of England Act 1694 in June 2009 (30,936 visitors). Since then, More

This is a ‘tweet’ from Twitter user GandhiSaysPeace.

Many people like good quotations.

GandhiSayspeace uses Twitter to spread Gandhi’s wisdom.

I use Twitter only occasionally to see what I’m missing out on: excitement through overload and change of information…

But WordPress uses Twitter for me by turning my blog posts into a ‘tweet’. That’s the magic of net-working behind the screens for me! That’s what I love.

The net and the web give us the opportunity NOT to be bystanders. It’s up to us to choose where we leave our virtual footprint and what kind of web steps’ we take.

Common sense or ‘proportion’ for Maurice Kirk and Raymond Fox!

It is quite extraordinary to read, see and hear what “they” do to Maurice Kirk.

But he is not alone. A simple joke on Twitter got the legal establishment going to prosecute a young man who subsequently got a criminal record and lost two jobs: “Crap! Robin Hood Airport is closed. You’ve got a week… otherwise I’m blowing the airport sky high!”

However, David Allen Green is a media and communications lawyer in the City who blogs ‘liberally’ and ‘critically’. He got involved in the Twitter case. He finds that common sense or ‘proportion’ should have been respected.

Maybe the collaboration between Police and lawyers is also way beyond common sense and ‘proportion’ in Maurice Kirk’s or Raymond Fox’s legal battles?

But which judge would admit to it???
