Government as “compensator of last resort”

Logic doesn’t seem to prevail in the corridors of power, or, rather, a different kind of logic!

However, that shall not prevent me from trying to “enlighten” politicians into our logic that is based on the suffering of people who have been duped, defrauded and tortured in a million and one ways.

This A4 page puts together what is also one of our requests in Watching White Collar Crime: the government has to become the compensator of last resort – not only to bail out banks, but to bring justice and financial consolation to victims of white collar crimes.

Furthermore, there is a marvellous historic precedent and occasion for the financial and economic challenges of any Government: the 100th anniversary of the Bradbury Pound.

Compensator of last resort: letter from insolvencey.

This is why we the defendants of “justice” get labled “Vexatious litigant” so that agencies such as insolvencey can latch on to a name to call the individuals, the victim, the consumer, members of the public who are asking for help, and fighting to put the truth forward in a system that is so intrentched in corruption, and therfore has as much “duty of care” and concience of a “cash register”
