Visiting Prisoners as “Social Life with Meaning” – while Express unearthes this National Scandal

To me, it is a complete miracle that and how Gloria and Joseph Musa have endured the violence, bullying, harassment and cruelty by Haringey Social Services, their Legal Team, Police and other associated ‘respectable authorities’.

But they remain ‘together’ as a couple and as individuals, even though

  • they were arrested on 28th November 2011 and put into HMP Holloway and HMP Pentonville respectively
  • they were refused bail in two hearings in Haringey Magistrates Court because of the “seriousness of the allegations” which have now been turned into “charges”
  • Gloria has been in chronic pain since her manhandling by Police in June 2010 and September 2011
  • they have not seen their eldest daughter since August 2010 and have had many people tell them that she is dead
  • they have not seen their other children since May 2011, even though numerous judges have ordered contact.

They suffer from not being believed [because their experiences are un-believable!], from being isolated, from most inhuman and unlawful horrible prison conditions – just as their supporter and McKenzie Friend Maurice J Kirk and deserve all the support they can possibly get.

Can you

  • visit Gloria in HMP Holloway [A 2767 CJ] – preferably by going there to book or telephone EARLY 020 7979 4741 or 4760;
  • visit Joseph in HMP Pentonville [A 2793 CJ] – by booking via 020 7023 7251 – equally difficult between 8.15 and 16.45
  • send them emails via Email a Prisoner which costs 30p a time and you need to start putting £5 in
  • contact the Governors and the Chaplaincy complaining about their inhuman prison conditions: freezing cells, no medical treatment for Gloria, no phone calls
  • prisons also have an “IMB” – an Independent Monitoring Board that can help
  •  then there is the Prison and Probation Ombudsman

And then there is the first article in the Daily Express about this national scandal: Social Workers “sex up abuse claims to snatch children for adoption

A “Citizens’ Cyber Court” has now been formed as another step for going onward and upward!
