Turning Pain into Power: Overcoming Experiences and Transcending the Role of the Victim

This is the emotional / psychological / spiritual / philosophical path from ‘victim’ to starfighter, campaigner, activist, ‘overcomer’ and McKenzie Friend.

Words from the Wind

By Adam J. Pearson

Earlier today, I was talking to a friend who was facing some tough emotional challenges. These challenges revolved around feeling like a victim and like she was caught in the “role of the victim.” She asked me an excellent question that is worth considering in some detail, namely,: “how do you overcome something painful that happened to you in the past?”

Here was my reply:

To overcome  painful past experiences, do what Mariatu Kamara does in the amazing true story of  Bite of the Mango; use the pain of the past as fertilizer for growth in the future. Transform your pain into power. Reflect on how you have endured what would have crushed many others and gone on living; use that realization to enhance your confidence and boost your will to survive.

A person who wishes to face a painful past experience or overcome a feeling of…

  1. parent against injustice says:

Does anybody please know the process of taking the local authority to court.

    • There’s a book called Administrative Law which sets out Citizens’ Actions. Authors Wade and Forsyth.
There is also PUBLIC LAW according to which authorities can be taken to court.
“Misconduct in public office” is the crime. Lifelong imprisonment.
I’m not sure you’ll find sympathetic lawyers and / or judges though.

It may be better to follow the Common Law route with the British Constitution Group.

  2. peter oakes says:

No one is above the law ? except jews that sexually abuse children, Lord Janner
finally appears in a Magistrates Court, a court that cannot try serious criminal
offences, The district judge is in a vain attempt to show “no one is above the law”
    unless they are jewish ?

The offences are serious indictable offences triable only in the Crown Court ! before
    a jury

Did the jews extend their understanding of the law when they “kidnapped” Eichman
from south america to stand trial in israel ? the zionist Janner is now getting the
same justice, but of course he is claiming medical unfitness ! was Eichman awarded
    this same defence ?

Please note I am being totally fair, the abused children were not treated fairly ?

It is just food for thought ! enjoy your meal and for gods sake start THINKING
it is five to zero hour, Boom is very close indeed. also consider J.Straw.
Neil Kinnock. Tony Bliar. John Prescott etc. are all multi millionaires
Some Socialist ? Vote Corbin it,s only fair In the pubic interest ?
